Sola Fola-Alade Makes His Directorial Debut with “Stolen” — Watch the Trailer

Best known as the pastor of The Liberty Church London, Sola Fola-Alade is stepping behind the camera for the first time and he’s telling a story close to home. Stolen, his debut feature film, just dropped its first trailer, and it’s already sparking conversation.

The film follows the lives of four Africans who leave home in search of a better life in the West. Along the way, they’re forced to confront the emotional, spiritual, and personal cost of migration — from hopes of opportunity to the unseen weight of sacrifice.

Based on real-life experiences, Stolen explores what it means to chase a dream while holding on to faith, family, and identity.

The cast includes Genoveva Umeh, Demi Banwo, Seun Ajayi, and Sola Fola-Alade himself.

Stolen brings together storytelling, spirituality, and social commentary in a way that feels both timely and deeply personal.
