A landmark moment for African cinema is on the horizon as “Amanyanabo: The Eagle King” sets its sights on UK audiences. The highly anticipated epic will premiere exclusively at Odeon Cinemas UK beginning August 29, 2025, marking a major milestone for Nollywood’s global expansion.

Directed by acclaimed Nigerian filmmakers Fred Amata and Ibinabo Fiberesima, Amanyanabo tells the compelling story of leadership, tradition, and identity among the Okrika people of Nigeria’s Niger-Delta.
