Ikechukwu, Mo Bimpe, Ibrahim Suleiman Lead in Action-Packed ‘Dead Tide’

Dead Tide crashes into cinemas on August 1, 2025, bringing with it a gripping blend of action, suspense, and survival. Directed by Soji Ogunnaike and written by Chiji Ononiwu, the film follows a social media influencer who witnesses a brutal murder and seeks refuge in the bar of a man with a shadowy past.

What follows is a race against time, as they fight to outwit killers and survive a tide of danger that won’t let go.

Produced by POV Films and Rushing Tap, and filmed on location in Badagry, Lagos, Dead Tide boasts a powerful cast including Ikechukwu, Ben Touitou, Ibrahim Suleiman, Mo Bimpe, Eniola Ajao, Uche Montana, VFly Monster, Adams Effects, Emmanuel Ilemobayo, Saga Deolu, Tope Olowoniyan, Yokee Gilla, Raph Niyi, Alexander Ayalogu, Charles Inojie, Ademola Amoo, Michael Udeojo, Folu Storms, Osasu Esemuede, Bade Smart, and Dr Whiteberry.

The project is executive produced by Ayo Soyombo and Soji Ogunnaike, with story credits to Jide Ayinde, Chiji Ononiwu, and Ogunnaike. It features top-notch crew work from DOP Taiwo Adeleye, producer Tosin Oludare, editor Nsisong Essien, and art director Abbey’s Creation, among many others, delivering a visually intense and emotionally charged film experience.
